What Is A Mediator?

A mediator is not a judge and mediators do not make any decisions for the parties. A mediator is someone that acts as a neutral third party. Mediators are formally trained to identify and understand legal issues and structure negotiations between two conflicted parties.

A skilled mediator will help the involved parties move past the conflict and determine for themselves what is important and, ultimately, the outcome of their situation. A successfully mediated dispute will negate the need for litigation.

Lori Adelson, Esq., is available to serve as a mediator in Florida and anywhere in the U.S. Ms. Adelson is especially effective with hostile and litigious parties because of her more than 20 years of litigation and trial experience as a lawyer handling employment law, discrimination, civil rights, labor law, and business dispute cases. She is a creative thinker and has a proven track record of negotiating and resolving these types of cases.
